BRATTLEBORO >> The Vermont Sex Offender Registry has issued a notification that Bruce Parker, 40, who was convicted in 2001 of aggravated sexual assault of a victim less than 13 years old, is now living in Brattleboro. • At 2:50 p.m., the Brattleboro Police Department learned that a wheel boot was forcefully removed from a vehicle and damaged beyond repair. Following an investigation, Michael Akey, 35, of Brattleboro was cited with unlawful mischief.
• At 8:50 p.m., the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a dispute in front of a residence on Clark Street. Following an investigation, Brandon Porter, 25, of Brattleboro, was cited with disorderly conduct.
• At 7:40 p.m., The Brattleboro Police responded to the boat launch at the end of Old Ferry Road for a report of a motor vehicle that was in the river and the vehicle was vacant. The Brattleboro Fire Department Dive Team and Chesterfield Police Department also responded. Upon arrival police met with Blake R. Vonasek, of Brattleboro, who said that he parked his vehicle on the boat ramp and exited his vehicle. While he was outside his vehicle, the vehicle began rolling into the river. The vehicle then became submerged. His vehicle was a black 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The vehicle was then successfully removed from the water.
• The Vermont State Police is investigating a burglary that occurred at a residence on Higley Hill Road in Marlboro. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call 802-254-2382.
