• At 11:15 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to the report of a burglary on Augur Hole Road in Marlboro.
The perpetrators forced their way into the residence and took items while inside. This case is under investigation and State Police are following up on information provided by witnesses. State Police are asking other potential witnesses to come forward with information in regards to this burglary or any other criminal activity. Information can be provided by calling 802-722-4600.
• At 3:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Westminster Heights Road in Westminster. As a result, Clifford Sprague, 36, of Springfield, was arrested and cited with operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
• At just past 4 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Interstate 91 in Brattleboro for the report of a single vehicle accident. While the crash is under investigation, troopers determined Liara Goldman, 30, of Alexandria, N.H., was traveling north when, for some reason, her vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. Goldman and her passenger were transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
• At just past 2 a.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 in Rockingham. As a result, Leah Vernon, 41, West Dover, was arrested and cited with operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
All persons named in the Police Log are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
