BARTON >> A Bellows Falls woman was one of seven people arrested in connection with a methamphetamine lab, according to WNTK radio in South Londonderry, N.H.

Detectives in Vermont along with Homeland Security began the investigation after the arrest of Terry Parson, 33, of Jackson Miss., on May 20. Police obtained a search warrant on May 21 for 60 Cottage Lane in Barton and evidence of the manufacturing of methamphetamine was seized at the residence.

The investigation continued until June 14 when police made six additional arrests, noted WNTK.

Amber Parson, 27, of Bellows Falls, was arrested and cited with conspiracy, child cruelty, and possession of pseudoephedrine for intent to manufacture methamphetamine. Terry Parson was arrested and cited with conspiracy, child cruelty, reckless endangerment, sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine. Danna Shover, 31, Cory Carpenter, 35, and Doris Gibney, 58, all of Newport, and Damion Gage, 23, of Brownington, and Donald Sabens III, 34, of Barton, were all arrested and cited with various crimes, including conspiracy, child cruelty, reckless endangerment, and possession of pseudoephedrine for intent to manufacture methamphetamine, according to WNTK.

All are being lodged at the North Country Correctional Facility.

June 13

• At 11;45 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to the parking lot of the Vermont Country Store in Rockingham for the report of a motor vehicle accident. Troopers learned a vehicle had been backed into and damaged in the parking lot. It was determined that the vehicle, a 2006 Ford Freestyle mini van, belonged to a store employee. The vehicle sustained damage to the left rear taillight and rear bumper. The only information provided by the witness was that a van with two younger males had struck the parked vehicle. The occupants were aware that they struck the vehicle because they got out to examine the damage before leaving. The witness had left the store before further information could be obtained. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Trooper Brian Turner at 802-875-2112.

• At 4:40 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to the report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 103 in Rockingham. Troopers determined Brandon Worrell, 29, of North Walpole, N.H., was traveling south when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle drifted off the roadway and into the grassy shoulder. Worrell's vehicle struck an old tree log as well as a mile marker sign before coming to a uncontrolled stop. The vehicle sustained front end damage and was towed from the scene. Worrell was issued a ticket for failing to maintain his lane.

June 14

•The Windham County Sheriffs Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating the individuals responsible for two burglaries that occurred recently on West Road in Vernon. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Griffus or Deputy Rheaume at the Windham County Sheriffs Office 802-365-4942.

June 15

• The Vermont State Police responded to Rice Farm Road in Dummerston for reports of thefts from vehicles. Troopers learned that during the overnight hours of June 14 into June 15, unknown persons entered several unlocked motor vehicles that were parked in driveways at residences on Rice Farm Road. A purse containing a wallet, a computer bag, change and other assorted items were removed from each of vehicles. The Vermont State Police is reminding everyone to lock their vehicles while parked in their driveways and keep valuables hidden from view. Also, please be vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact Sgt. Buckley of the Vermont State Police at 802-254-2382.

• At 3:45 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Route 100 in Wardsboro for the report of a two-vehicle collision. Troopers determined Edna Sidrane, 65, of Wardsboro, was gardening outside her residence when a passing vehicle struck her wheelbarrow, which was near the road edge, and was propelled into Sidrane. The vehicle that struck the wheelbarrow received a flat tire and pulled over a short distance up the road. The operator was identified as Donna L Martin, 52, Wardsboro, who was subsequently arrested and cited with driving under the influence. Sidrane was transported to Grace Cottage Hospital with minor injuries.

• The Keene, N.H., Police Department responded to the shelter on Water Street. As a result, Michael L. Steever, 36, of Hinsdale, N.H., was taken into custody on an arrest warrant
