• On February 22 Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a business on Canal Street for a report of fraudulent use of a credit card. Subsequent investigation led to William Roy, 31, of Brattleboro being issued a citation for fraud. Roy will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to face the charge.

March 18

• Officers of the Brattleboro Police Department were on patrol on Elliot Street when they observed Denise Madeja, 43, of Brattleboro attempting to solicit money. Subsequent investigation led to Madeja being arrested for disorderly conduct, violation of conditions, and possession of a controlled substance. Madeja will appear in Windham County Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to face the charges.

March 19

• At approximately 5:53 p.m., Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on US Route 5 in Westminster for failure to signal. While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia was visible in plain sight. During a consent search of the vehicle, Troopers located 22 bags of heroin. Sarah Barrett, 27, of Bellows Falls was arrested and processed for the offense. She was found to be on conditions of release for prior heroin sales and possession charges. Barrett was issued a citation for violation of conditions of release and possession of heroin.

March 20

• At approximately 9 a.m. Adison Clark, 19, of Dummerston was headed east on Camp Arden road in Dummerston. Clark struck a tree on the passenger side front end and was not injured in the crash. The car was towed from the scene by Rod's Towing.
