-- On Dec. 6, Hannaford employees spotted Joseph Cox, 28, of Brattleboro, who was in the store and has an active trespass warning. Police confirmed that the trespassing warning was in place. Cox was later located in Brattleboro and issued a citation to appear in court at a later date for trespassing.

-- On Dec. 14, Brattleboro Police responded to a motor vehicle crash. Grant J. Barker, 36, of Bellows Falls, was subsequently taken into custody without incident for operating after suspension of license. Barker was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division at a later date to answer to this charge.

-- On Dec. 14, Kyle M. Wilson, 21, of Darien, Conn., was arrested by the Windham County Sheriff’s Department for possession of marijuana. Wilson’s vehicle was stopped on Linden Street for speeding. Investigation revealed he possessed marijuana. Wilson was released on conditions and was cited to appear in court at a later date.

-- On Dec. 17, Brattleboro Police received a complaint that a driver going through the drive-through at Dunkin Donuts may be intoxicated. Police were able to locate the drive on Bonnyvale Road, where they conducted a motor vehicle stop. After a short investigation, the driver, Joseph Magnuson, 43, of Guilford, was brought to the police department for processing and then released on a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.


-- The Windham County’s Sheriff’s Department is investigation the theft of fuel from a construction site. Between Nov. 2 and 3, fuel was taken from several pieces of equipment. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy John Mariano at 802-365-4952.

-- The Windham County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a theft of several pieces of equipment from a residence. A Stihl BR600 Magnum leaf blower, Stihl MS180 chainsaw, a Briggs and Stratton 2000-watt generator and several other items were stolen between Nov. 17 and 18. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy John Mariano at 802-365-4952.


-- Sometime between Dec. 11 and 12, a propane line was cut to a propane tank at the Hit or Miss Club located on Route 5. Anyone with information regarding this act of vandalism is asked to contact Trooper Berry at the State Police in Rockingham.

-- On Dec. 17, Vermont State Police received a report of a burglary at 305 Missing Link Road. Anyone with information in this burglary is encouraged to contact Trooper Lunderville at the Rockingham Barracks at 802-875-2112.


-- Daniel Parson, 47, of Townshend, was arrested by the Windham County Sheriff’s Department on a warrant for failure to appear in court for a pre-trial conference. He was brought before the Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division as a result.


-- On Dec. 12, Bertha Lawrence, 71, of Putney, pulled out of the post office parking and was attempting to go across the roadway and pull into the Circle K. However, she struck a vehicle being driven by Kristin McGee, 46, of Westminster, who was traveling northbound on Route 5. Lawrence was at fault for the accident, stated police.

-- On Dec. 13, Paul Youngson, 27, of Westminster, was arrested for gross negligent operation and child endangerment after being stopped for driving 132 mph on I-91. Youngson was driving a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT. He was found to have been drinking and there was a 16 year-old male passenger in the vehicle. Youngson was arrested and transported to the Rockingham State Police Barracks for booking and later released. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Jan. 29.

-- On Dec. 15, Vermont State Police responded to a residence for a reported family fight. Gidean Toussaint, 32, of Westminster, was subsequently arrested for domestic assault and unlawful mischief.
