-- On July 29, the Bellows Falls Police Department found that Zachary James, 24, of Bellows Falls, had consumed alcohol in violation of the conditions of his release. James was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 26.
-- Police are investigating "numerous acts of vandalism to motor vehicles throughout the town" that happened late Aug. 7 or early Aug. 8. Those acts involve a hard object that was either thrown or used to break vehicles’ windows.

-- On Aug. 7, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Patricia Bills, 35, of Springfield, and cited her with operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Aug. 8, while investigating a noise complaint in downtown, the Brattleboro Police Department observed Polly J. McNaughton, 21, of Guilford, who was in violation of the conditions of her release. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
