-- On July 2, at approximately noon, the Southern Vermont Drug Task Force arrested George Onuoha, 40, of Brattleboro, and cited him with four counts of selling crack cocaine in the Brattleboro area. He was ordered held without bail.
-- On July 5, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Brattleboro Police Department responded to a residence on Canal Street for the report of a dispute. Following an investigation, Douglas A. Durfee Jr., 48, of Brattleboro, and Douglas A. Durfee III, 22, of Keene, N.H., were cited with disorderly conduct and ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On July 23, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Donald J. Reetz, 45, of Brattleboro, with criminal contempt and unlawful trespass. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On July 23, the Brattleboro Police Department took into custody Samuel J. Caldwell, 30, of Putney, on two active arrest warrants related to forgery, false pretenses and failing to appear in court.
-- On Jan. 23, the Southern Vermont Drug Task Force, after a lengthy investigation, arrested Linda M. Brooks, 54, of Brattleboro, and cited her with aiding in the commission of felony sales of crack cocaine in the Brattleboro area. She was ordered to appear in court on Sept. 2.
-- On July 8, the Windham County Sheriff's Office received a report from Rod's Mobile that several vehicles serviced there were missing inspection stickers and that someone had gone through their customers' glove boxes. After investigation, Claud Maillet, 41, of Putney, was cited for petit larceny. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Corporal Melissa Martin at 802-365-4942. Maillet was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19.
-- On July 22, the Windham County Sheriff's Office began an investigation a potential break-in that occurred on Hemlock Road in the early morning hours. At this time, no items have been reported stolen or damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Mark Anderson at 802-254-6962.
-- On July 23, at approximately 7 a.m., the Windham County Sheriff's Office conducted a motor vehicle stop on Fort Bridgman Road. The driver of the vehicle allegedly provided to deputies false identity information. As a result, Shawn D. Bristol, 22, of Vernon, was cited with giving false information to a police officer and for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. He was ordered to appear in court on Aug. 9.
