-- On May 16, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for the report of an unruly patient. After an investigation, William Bruder, no age or place of residence given, was arrested and cited with disorderly conduct, simple assault and lewd and lascivious behavior. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On May 19, at approximately 12:45 p.m., the Brattleboro Police Department and emergency services responded to a residence on Elliot Street for a medical emergency. Services were provided on the scene and the person was then transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital where the patient later died. According to police, the death is not considered suspicious.
-- On May 21, at approximately 1:15 a.m., the Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street. As a result, Lori L. Strange, 47, of Guilford, was arrested and cited for driving under the influence. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On May 17, at approximately 7:50 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 5. As a result, Thomas Baldwin, 55, of Rockingham, was found to be operating the vehicle with a criminally suspended license. He was arrested, cited and ordered to appear in court on June 10. He was also issued a written warning for speeding.
