-- On March 25, at approximately 6 p.m., the Bellows Falls Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Atkinson Street. As a result, Brandy Wills, 30, of Bellows Falls, was cited for possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended license. She was ordered to appear in court on May 27.
-- On March 25, at approximately 4 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Interstate 91. The operator of the vehicle consented to a search of the vehicle, but a passenger in the vehicle, Giovana Marquez, 37, of Springfield, Mass., would not allow a search of her purse, which was in the vehicle. A search warrant was granted by a judge to search the purse, in which troopers located approximately half of a pound of marijuana. Marquez was processed at the State Police barracks in Brattleboro and released on a citation to appear in court on May 27.
-- On March 26, at approximately 12:30 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to the junction of Route 11 and Route 100 for the report of a two-vehicle crash. Troopers determined Henry Abbott, 74, of Londonderry, failed to yield at the intersection and struck the rear passenger side of a vehicle being driven by Robert Felion, 35, of Rupert. No injuries were reported.
-- On March 24, at approximately 5:10 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to a crash on River Street. Troopers determined Alicia Simonds, 26, of Saxtons River, had backed her 2003 GMC Envoy out of her driveway and struck a 2009 Subaru Impreza parked on the side of the road. Simonds was found to be operating with a suspended license, and her car was not registered. No injuries were reported. She was issued a traffic ticket for operating after suspension.
-- On March 25, at approximately 4 p.m., the Vermont State Police responded to mile marker 25 on Interstate 91 south, to the report of a possible suicidal female. As a result, Deserae Allen, 21, of Westminster, was arrested for attempted assault on four different women who were trying to prevent her from hurting herself. She was also cited for disorderly conduct and violating two separate conditions of release. She was ordered to appear in court on March 26.
-- On March 26, at approximately 5 p.m., the Vermont State Police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Interstate 91 northbound for a lane violation. As a result, Mariah Gagne, 24, of Weathersfield, was cited with possession of heroin and ordered to appear in court on April 29.
