-- On Oct. 5, Brattleboro Police Department was called to investigate an animal problem in the area of Bridge Street and the Whetstone Station Restaurant. Donald J. Reetz Jr., 44, of Brattleboro, was a arrested as a result of that investigation for violating conditions of release.
-- On Oct. 23, Shane Mercy, 34, of Brattleboro, was arrested and charged with felony unlawful mischief without incident. An investigation was conducted into allegations that Mercy had intentionally caused damage to machinery at Windham County Solid Waste in Brattleboro, where he had been working. After his arrest, Mercy was transported to the Brattleboro Police Department where he was processed and released on conditions. He was issued a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division to answer to the charge at a later date.
-- On Oct. 25, Brattleboro Police Department was called to the area of the Whetstone Station Restaurant to investigate a noise disturbance. Donald J. Reetz Jr., 44, of Brattleboro, was arrested as a result of that investigation for unlawful trespass and violation of active conditions of release.
-- On Oct. 27, Brattleboro Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 30 for speeding. As a result of this stop, Chad P. Harrison, 30, of Townshend, was cited to appear in court a later date to answer to the charge of excessive speed.
