-- On Sept. 28, Shandi Nicholas, 26, of North Walpole, N.H., was arrested for unlawful mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Nicholas was processed and issued a citation to appear in Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on Oct. 29 to answer to the charges. He was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
-- On Sept. 13, Brattleboro Police were investigating an unrelated citizen dispute on Main Street. While investigating that incident, officers learned about an instance of prohibited acts occurring during the dispute. An investigation was initiated and Milo M. Fields, 59, of Brattleboro, was arrested for committing prohibited acts following that investigation.
-- On Sept. 25, the Brattleboro Police Department cited Robert Ford, 48, of Brattleboro, with unlawful trespass. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Sept. 25, the Brattleboro Police Department cited James Neveu, 57, of Brattleboro, for unlawful trespass at the Brattleboro Food Co-op. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Sept. 26, Brattleboro Police initiated a motor vehicle stop. Investigation showed that the operator of the vehicle, Brian Boucher, 28, of Brattleboro, was driving with a criminally suspended license. Boucher was arrested and later released on court-ordered conditions. He was cited to appear at court at a later date and time.
-- On Sept. 27, Brattleboro Police responded to the Super 8 Motel located on Putney Road for a report of a subject who was being threatening towards staff. Further investigation resulted in Daniel P. Clancy, 60, of Brattleboro, being cited for disorderly conduct. He will appear in court at a later date to answer to this charge.
-- On Sept. 28, Vermont State Police patrolled Route 30, when a trooper observed a vehicle traveling northbound at a high rate of speed. The trooper stopped the vehicle and further investigation revealed that the operator, Lance A. Wilkins, 27, of Newfane, was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. Wilkins breath alcohol content was .143 percent . He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and was taken to the Brattleboro barracks, where he was processed, cited and released.
-- A Brattleboro woman was one if six people arrested and cited for trafficking of heroin on Sept. 23 after their vehicle was stopped on Interstate 91 by a Vermont State Trooper.
According to a press release, Chrysta Marini, 24, of Brattleboro, Tyrone Cromer, 20, Kassim Marsh, 25, Jahlil Marsh, 20, Khamil Marsh, 22, all of Newark, N.J., and Aliquan Umstead, 26, of Springfield, Mass., were all in the vehicle, which was found during a subsequent search to contain 1.25 ounces of heroin with an approximate street value of $30,000. All six were ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Sept. 24, at about 9:40 a.m., the Vermont State Police responded to Missing Link Road for the report of a single-vehicle crash. According to police, Scott Parent, 47, of Rockingham, was traveling north when he struck a deer that ran out onto the highway. The vehicle sustained moderate front end damage but Parent was not injured.
