-- On Sept. 17, the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to Donovan’s Bar on Rockingham Street for the report of a disorderly man. Upon arrival, police made contact with Christopher Lanese, of Bellows Falls, outside of PK’s Bar, also on Rockingham Street. Lanese was found to be intoxicated and to be in violation of conditions of release for a previous infraction. During processing, Lanese urinated on the floor of the processing room and as a result was cited for unlawful mischief. He was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of $5,000 bond.
-- On Sept. 15, officers from the Brattleboro Police Department responded to the area of Moore Court to investigate the report of an assault. Following the investigation, Jennifer Pineda, 38, of Brattleboro, was arrested for simple assault. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date. According to the Brattleboro Police Department, Pineda is currently being held in Chittenden County on a probation violation.
-- On Sept. 18, the Brattleboro Police Department arrested Angel Figueroa, 23, of Brattleboro, and cited him for disorderly conduct. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- On Sept. 18, the Brattleboro Police Department responded to Flat Street for the report of a dispute. As a result, Chasity G. McCormack, 39, of Halifax, was cited for possession and control of regulated drugs. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- Between Sept. 2 and Sept. 13, a home on Travis Drive was broken into and property damage as caused. Following an investigation by the Vermont State Police, Randy F. DeJordy, Jr., 20, of Brattleboro, was arrested and cited for burglary. He was ordered to appear in court on Oct. 20.
-- On Sept. 17, the Vermont State Police stopped a vehicle on East West Road for erratic operation. As a result, Linda Alexander, 53, of Newfane, was arrested and cited for driving under the influence. She was ordered to appear in court no Oct. 8.
-- On Sept. 17, the Vermont State Police took a 911 call of a man screaming for help. The caller reported that the man had been screaming for 15 to 20 minutes before she realized he was in distress. The caller reported the man was somewhere behind her house on Rice Farm Road. Members of the Vermont State Police, the Dummerston Fire Department and Rescue Inc. responded to the scene and conducted a search.
A short while later, James R. Rowe, 41, of East Dover, was found by members of the Dummerston Fire Department. Rowe was no injured and did not require medical attention. He told troopers he was hiking to see the old quarry when he got turned around and lost.
-- On Sept. 16, the Vermont State Police responded to a report of single-vehicle accident on Route 9. An investigation revealed Dorthy E. Levinson, 28, of Marlboro, was distracted by her dog when she went off the road and collided with rocks, a metal post, a wooden fence and the sign to a business. No one was injured in the crash. The Marlboro Fire Department assisted.
-- On Sept. 19, the Windham County Sheriff’s Department arrested John N. Navarro, 55, of Pomfret, Conn., and cited him for driving under the influence of alcohol. He was ordered to appear in court on Oct. 8.
-- On Sept. 17, the Vermont State Police responded to Exit 6 southbound of I-91 for the report of a vehicle/deer collision. Terry Hartman, 70, of Chester, was not injured in the crash, but the vehicle had to be towed.
