He was ordered to appear in Windham Superior Court: Criminal Division at a later date to answer to the charge.
-- Dakota Thomas, 18, of Dummerston, was cited with theft of services after allegedly not paying for his meal at a Putney Road restaurant on Monday, April 15.
-- Kimberly Saunders, 47, of Brattleboro, was cited for possession of stolen property on Thursday, April 18. She was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
-- Jensen Lindholm, 21, of Brattleboro, was cited for shoplifting on Friday, April 19. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
-- Patrick Devens, 25, Brattleboro, was cited on Friday, April 19, for violating his conditions of release. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
-- Benjamin Keyes, of Ashford, Conn., was cited Saturday, April 20, for leaving the scene of an accident. He was ordered to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
-- Alex S. James, 20, of Putney, was cited on Saturday, April 20, for possession of marijuana and cultivation of marijuana.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., Vermont State Police in Brattleboro received a request to assist the Rutland City Police Department with locating two runaway juveniles from Rutland. The police from Rutland had received information that two runaways ages 13 and 17, were at James' residence on Mill Street in Putney.
Vermont State troopers had spoken to James, who reported that the two runaways had been at his residence previously and he gave the troopers his consent to allow the troopers to check his residence. Troopers did not locate the two missing juveniles but found several marijuana plants growing in James' residence. They found less than two ounces of marijuana and more 10 marijuana plants.
James was cited and ordered to appear in court at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, for arraignment.
