On Jan. 21, Vermont State Police responded to Route 100 for a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries.
Investigation revealed that Randy Deblois, 44, of Wilmington, was traveling north on Route 100, when his vehicle lost traction on the snow-covered road. Deblois’ vehicle spun out of control and crossed into the southbound lane.
Nathan Braman, 27, of Stamford, was traveling south on Route 100 and was unable to avoid collision with Deblois. The passenger side of Deblois’ vehicle struck the front end of Braman’s truck.
Braman was uninjured in the crash. Deblois sustained injuries and was transported to North Adams Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Some details of the crash are still under investigation. Alcohol appears to be a contributing factor.
