Police search for Dummerston Sunoco robber

DUMMERSTON -- The Vermont State Police is investigating a robbery of the Exit 4 Sunoco that occurred at 1:30 this morning.

According to a press release from the State Police, a white male subject entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk at first refused, but was threatened with harm.

The subject fled with about $100 in cash. He was not seen with a vehicle, and fled in an unknown direction of travel.

He is described as a white male, between 5'5" and 5'8", average build, wearing a black winter hat, pulled down over his face with eye holes cut into it. He was wearing a gray or blue winter jacket, with a white horizontal stripe across the chest and the back, and blue jeans.

No weapon was shown to the clerk.

At this time the investigation is ongoing.
