Police search for man taking pictures of women in local store

BRATTLEBORO - The Brattleboro Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a man suspected of taking unauthorized pictures of women shopping in a local market on Putney Road.

According to police, video surveillance from the store shows the man walking throughout Hannaford taking images of unsuspecting women with his cell phone on Jan. 28 at approximately 4:30 p.m.

Police were notified, but prior to their arrival, the man had left the store in an earl model black Jeep Wrangler or CJ7. The vehicle had a tan hard top, large BF Goodrich tires and was registered in Vermont.

The subject is wanted for questioning about his activity. Anyone who might have information is urged to contact Officer Matt Petlock or Det. Lt. Michael Carrier at 802-257-7950 or 802-251-8188.
