Putney's Grammar School to host Medieval Faire on Oct. 8

PUTNEY >> On Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Grammar School will transform its campus into a medieval village for its annual Medieval Faire. This event has been a family favorite for almost three decades!

Enjoy the festivities while the King and his royal court preside over the Faire. Kids can ride a flying dragon, battle a knight, and watch medieval riding games on horseback. Fairgoers can also shop for goods in the village market and watch extravagant entertainment, including live music. You can even be knighted by the King himself!

Other highlights this year include: Birds of prey; fencing; medieval riding games; giant chess; demonstrations of weaving, spinning, and wood carving; archery; fortune telling; giant catapult; and photo opportunities.

Admission to the Medieval Faire is free. All-day ride passes and individual tickets are available. Proceeds benefit the scholarship fund.
