Reception for local author, Daniel A. Heller
DCDesign Books announced that "Between the Shadows" by Daniel A. Heller, will be published Oct. 7, with a reception at the Dianich Gallery in Brattleboro at 7:30 p.m. during the monthly Gallery Walk. The gallery is located at 139 Main St., near the River Garden. The event will include a reception and a reading/book signing.
According to the author, many of the poems in this book come from the dark corners of his heart. Daniel A. Heller was a secondary educator for over thirty years. He holds a BA and an MA in English from Middlebury College, an MEd from Keene State College (N.H.), a CAGS in educational administration and planning from UVM, and an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from The College of St. Joseph (Rutland, Vt.). He has published six books on education. This is his first book of poetry, although he has written poetry since he was in his teens. He lives in Brattleboro, and West Hartford, Conn., with his wife Nina.
