Rev. Carra McFadden will lead worship at Centre Congregational


BRATTLEBORO - The Rev. Carra McFadden will lead 10 a.m. worship Sunday Sept. 8 at Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro. Fellowship Hour follows in the fireside parlor and all are welcome. Many of the church’s various activities are resuming in early September, including the Chancel Choir, Bible Studies, Kidz Club, and various Board and Committee meetings. As part of Fall Fundraising, at 1 p.m. Saturday Sept. 21 in the parlor, author Edie Clark will present a book reading on her memoir "What There Was Not to Tell."

An All-church study course titled "God’s Surprises" will begin Sunday, Sept. 29 at Centre Church. Class sessions will be held at 9 a.m. Sundays in the church library, and will be repeated on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. A sign-up sheet is on the church bulletin board.

The Kidz Club theme for September is "God’s Green Earth," celebrating the wonders of God’s creation. Michael Mario is Director of Christian Education.
