Rev. Meachen’s sermon is ‘Is the Fire Still Burning? Is the Wind Still Blowing?’

BRATTLEBORO -- Worship will be held this Sunday, June 8, at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church. Scripture from Acts 2:1-21 will be read by Betty Stacy, as well as others in a variety of languages telling the story of Pentecost.

The Rev. Cheryl Meachen will preach a sermon entitled, "Is the Fire Still Burning? Is the Wind Still Blowing?" which will explore the Holy Spirit’s action in the church today.

The Annual Blessing of the Motorcycles will be held next Sunday, June 15, at 11 a.m. following worship and culminating with a ride to "The Tent" on Route 9 in New Hampshire for a delicious lunch. All bikers are welcome.
