Rev. Philip Wilson is guest preacher Sunday at Dummerston Congregational
DUMMERSTON -- Worship on Sunday, Aug. 3, at the Dummerston Congregational Church is at 9:30 a.m. The guest preacher this Communion Sunday will be the Rev. Philip Wilson, retired Episcopal priest.
Guest musicians are Caleb and Bruce Freeberg of Windsor. Caleb, a sophomore at Eckerd College in Florida, plays a variety of instruments and is a member of the acoustic rock band "Carter Glass." The Freebergs perform traditional gospel and Celtic music in churches throughout Vermont.
Children begin in worship and then go to an open classroom, continuing their study of Kenya under the direction of Heather Golding.
Food for The Drop-In Center may be left in the church entrance. Church World Service School Kits are being assembled, see the Facebook page for details.
