Rev. Robert Hamm’s sermon Sunday is ‘The Unforced Rhythms of Grace’
NEWFANE -- The First Congregational Church of Newfane will meet for worship and communion at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 6. The Rev. Robert Hamm’s sermon is titled "The Unforced Rhythms of Grace" with scripture from the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 11, verses 16-19 and 25-30. Congregational hymns are "God of the Ages, Whose Almighty Hand," "I Come with Joy" and "America the Beautiful." Special music will be provided by guest organist Alice Gausch who will play the prelude "Contemplation," the postlude "Fantasia on ‘America’ " by Edward Broughton and a special offertory "Blessed are the Meek" by Harry Robert Wilson, sung by Christine Gray. The July Mission of the month is Valley Cares.
