Rock Voices begins new season, seeking singers

Posted

Rock Voices, the community choir that sings only rock and roll is beginning its new season. The choir is seeking singers. There are no auditions, and you don't need to know how to read music.

This summer, the program is all 'soul' music that will include the music of Etta James, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Tower of Power, Al Greene, Marvin Gaye, and more!

The season's final performance will be at Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main Street, Brattleboro, on Friday, July 29 at 7 p.m.

Brattleboro rehearsals are Monday nights beginning on May 30 at 7 p.m. at the Vermont Jazz Center, #222, 72 Cotton Mill Hill, in the Cotton Mill building.
