Ross Meyer receives AP Scholar Award


BRATTLEBORO -- Ross A. Meyer of Brattleboro and a 2013 graduate of Brattleboro Union High School, recently received the AP Scholar Award based on his outstanding performance on the 2013 Advanced Placement Exams. The college board confers this distinction on students with a score of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams. Meyer took six AP Exams, including those in Calculus, Physics, English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Micro Economics and Macro Economics.

The College Board’s AP Program provides willing and academically prepared students with the opportunity to take rigorous college-level courses while still in high school and to earn college credit, advanced placement for both or successful performance on the AP Exams.

Meyer is currently studying at Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. He is the son of Heidi and Kevin Meyer of Brattleboro.
