’A Precious Glimpse’ is Rev. McFadden’s sermon at Centre Congregational Church

BRATTLEBORO -- For the Third Sunday of Easter at Centre Congregational Church on May 4 at the 10 a.m. service, the Rev. Carra McFadden will lead worship, with the sermon titled "A Precious Glimpse," based on the Bible text from Luke 24: 13-35.

The Chancel Choir will sing under the direction of Christian Huebner, organist and choir director. Kidz Club will meet in the annex under the direction of Michael Mario, Director of Christian Education. Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers. Fellowship Hour will follow the service and all are welcome.

The next special event will be the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, in Memorial Hall. The theme is "Murder in the Vineyard." Tickets are $30 and may be obtained by calling Anne Doesburg at 802-254-5495.

On May 18, the Open and Affirming Task Force will be presenting the Centre Church’s official framed certificate from the United Church of Christ to the congregation. The Annual Program Meeting will follow the service to elect new officers and committee/board members.
