’Maria Mitchell: A Woman of Vision’ is topic at All Souls

WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Unitarian Universalist at the West Village Meeting House invites all to worship on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m., when the topic will be "Maria Mitchell: A Woman of Vision."

Devoted daughter, questioning Quaker, learned librarian, acclaimed astronomer, profound professor, superior suffragist, Maria Mitchell was all of these and more. Last summer, ASC member Marianne Rigatti barely began the intriguing saga of Mitchell’s life and times. All are welcome for the rest of the story.

All Souls at the West Village Meeting House is designated by the Unitarian Universalist Association as a Certified Welcoming Congregation and a Green Sanctuary, and recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat.

All Souls is located at 29 South St., across the road up from the West Brattleboro fire station and village green. Nursery care is available.
