BRATTLEBORO -- Worship service on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church at 190 Main St. in Brattleboro will be "Pride In Our Past -- Faith In Our Future."

Sunday’s worship service will focus on the journey through Lent. Pastor Suzanne Andrews will lead parishioners in the weeks ahead as they follow Jesus on His walk to the Cross. Soloist will be Willeen Wango.

A well-equipped nursery is available for infants and toddlers.

A four-session Lenten Bible Study provided by the First Baptist Church Board of Christian Education called "The New Testament: It’s Message and Meaning for Today," will be held at the home of Sylvia Seitz, 70 Winter St., in Brattleboro. Study/discussion groups will meet at 7 p.m. beginning on Monday, Feb. 25, and each Monday evening through March 18. Open dialogue and free discussion will allow for better understanding of one’s faith and answers to many questions in today’s world.
