’Sing Aloud and Shout for Joy’ is sermon Sunday at First United Methodist Church
BRATTLEBORO -- Worship at First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m. will include lighting the third candle of Advent, "Joy." Scripture from Zephaniah 3:14-20 will be read by Ron Francis. Pastor Cheryl Meachen’s sermon is entitled "Sing Aloud and Shout for Joy." Holy Communion will be celebrated.
Eleanor Vanderpool will sing "O Holy Night." The church’s liturgical dancers will present "Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming" and the choir, directed by Jenny Hinton, will sing "Joy Overflowing." All are welcome.
An Advent study continues this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and is titled, "Shine!"
