’The Practice of Choiceless Awareness’ course set at Vt. Insight Meditation Ctr.

Saturday February 2, 2013

BRATTLEBORO -- A four-part course on "The Practice of Choiceless Awareness" will take place this winter at the Vermont Insight Meditation Center.

The once-a-week classes -- Tuesdays from Feb. 26 to March 19 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Solar Hill Neighbors’ Hall on 229 Western Ave. -- will explain and explore "choiceless awareness": being aware with no chosen object, but with openness to everything that arises in every moment.

Classes will be taught by Kate Wylie with help from Bhante Gunaratana’s "Mindfulness in Plain English," Buddhadasa Bikkhu’s "Heartwood of the Bodhi Tree" and Amaro Bikkhu’s "Small Boat, Big Mountain."

The registration fee is $20 with an additional suggested donation to thank the teacher.
