’The Way, The Truth and the Life’ is sermon in Dummerston

DUMMERSTON -- During Lent, the focus of worship at the Dummerston Church is on the Words of Jesus on his last night together with his disciples, as recorded in the Gospel of John, chapters 13-17.

On Sunday, March 23, at 10 a.m. the meditation will be "The Way, The Truth and the Life," based on John 14: 1-14. Music leadership will be provided by Franz Robert, organist. The children’s story by Pastor Susanna Griefen continues a series of stories about Communion. This Sunday the story is "What Did He Mean?" based on I Corinthians 11: 23-25.

All are invited to join in Bible Study of the scripture for the week to come: after worship, individually, or in informal groups. The scriptures for March 30 are John 14: 15-31; John 15: 26-27 and John 16: 7-14-the work of the Holy Spirit.

The church is located in Dummerston Center, 1536 Middle Road. It is a Green Justice Congregation of The United Church of Christ. For information contact Pastor Griefen, 802-257-0544, susanna@griefen.com.
