’Thinking Green, Acting Green’ is theme at All Souls
WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Church Unitarian Universalist invites all to worship Sunday April 21, at 10 a.m. "Thinking Green, Acting Green" will be this week’s theme. On Sunday, All Souls Church Social Action Committee will host Betsy Hardy of Vermont Interfaith Power and Light and Paul Cameron, Brattleboro’s town energy coordinator and founder of Brattleboro Climate Protection. They will tell how they are involved with energy conservation. Members of the Social Action Committee will take part in the service.
The All Souls Adult Choir, under the direction of Tom Baehr, will sing "Always Something Sings" by Linda Spevacet.
This Sunday at All Souls, Earth Day will be recognized by taking time to connect with the land church stands upon. Children and youth will spend time worshiping in the ASC woods at "Big Pine Chapel," then will be lead along the church trails by longtime member John Spicer. They will end by helping to care for the land with a few spring clean-up projects. Nursery care will be provided.
