BRATTLEBORO -- On Thursday, May 2, at 8 p.m., the Latchis Theatre presents the popular NPR radio show "Wait Wait ... Don’t Tell Me!" like you’ve never seen it before.

Which isn’t hard because normally, you can’t see it.

But now you can, because a live staging of "Wait Wait ... Don’t Tell Me!," presented by NPR, WBEZ-Chicago and BY Experience, is being aired at cinemas across the country, including the Latchis.

Host Peter Sagal and official judge and scorekeeper Carl Kasell will be joined by panelists Paula Poundstone, Mo Rocca and this area’s own Tom Bodett to play the famous NPR news quiz in front of a live audience. Carl reading limericks, celebrity guests answering stupid questions ... You’ve heard it on the radio, now see it live in glorious 2D.

Tickets are $20 and are available Brattleborotix.com and at the Latchis Hotel.

Media sponsor is VPR.
