Sandglass Puppet Arts offers a training summer intensive program

Posted

Sandglass Theater is offering a two-week intensive workshop in Puppet Theater directed by co-founders Eric Bass and Ines Zeller Bass, August 14 through 27. This program is offered to puppeteers, teachers, actors, directors, designers and writers who want to expand and deepen their skill and understanding in the art of the puppet.

The objective of this training program is to inspire theater artists to understand and to experience the puppet as a theatrical medium. Sandglass believes in integrating this understanding of the puppet within the larger picture of expressive theater. Sandglass teaches a method of manipulation developed in over 30 years of workshops in Europe and America.

The Sandglass Summer Intensive will take place at Sandglass Theater, 17 Kimball Hill, Putney.

For more information and to register visit sandglasstheater.org.

The application deadline is June 15.
