BRATTLEBORO -- On Friday during Gallery Walk, from 5 to 8 p.m., Santa Claus is taking a break from his busy holiday schedule, to visit KidsPLAYce to spend time with the kids of Brattleboro. Children will have a chance to chat with Santa, sit on his lap and have their picture taken with him.

"We’re making sure every family with kids has a festive place to go this Gallery Walk," explains Elizabeth Johnson, executive director of KidsPLAYce. "Any child who wants to visit with Santa is welcome."

Admission is free, and it’s free for children to sit on Santa’s lap and chat with him. Hot cocoa and holiday baked treats will be sold. Photos with Santa will be available for $10. This fundraising event will help cover KidsPLAYce’s operating costs.

Volunteers are needed for this event. Donations of one-serving baked goods are needed as well.

KidsPLAYce is at 20 Elliot St., downstairs from Hotel Pharmacy.
