Series on ‘Violence in Schools’ continues Tuesday at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church
BRATTLEBORO -- St. Michael’s Episcopal Church at 16 Bradley Ave. in Brattleboro will hold the third in its series of programs on violence on Tuesday, March 5. The program on "Violence in Our Schools: Bullying and Aggression Within Institutions" will be led by Thad Bennett. All people in the community are invited to come to any or all parts of the evening:
-- 5:30-6:15 p.m., light supper of soup and sandwiches in the undercroft;
-- 6:15-7:15 p.m., program on "Violence in Our Schools" in the second floor meeting room;
-- 7:15 -7:35 p.m., a brief candlelight worship service in the sanctuary.
Children are welcome to join the adults for supper and there will be childcare from 6:15 to 7:35 p.m. when worship ends.
The fourth Tuesday evening program, beginning at 5:30 p.m. on March 12 will focus on "Violence in the Media" and will be led by Susan and Paul Dedell. For further information, call 802-254-6048.
