Shital Kinkhabwala is guest speaker Sunday at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church


WEST BRATTLEBORO -- All Souls Unitarian Universalist at the West Village Meeting House invites all to worship on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m., when guest speaker, Shital Kinkhabwala, will talk on "Gita and the Attainment of Peace."

One of the main themes of the Hindu sacred text, the Bhagvid Gita, is the detachment of the ego from one’s actions, which is necessary to achieve peace and harmony. Kinkhabwala, aided by All Souls member Ed Burke, will explain how to this detachment may be achieved.

All Souls at the West Village Meeting House is designated by the Unitarian Universalist Association as a Certified Welcoming Congregation and a Green Sanctuary, and recognized by the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat.

All Souls is located at 29 South St. across the road up from the West Brattleboro Fire Station and Village Green. Nursery care is available.
