BRATTLEBORO >> Bellows Falls wrestler DJ Snide received 92 votes to earn Reformer Athlete of the Week honors for Feb. 7-13. He joins previous winners Skyler LeClair of Hinsdale, Brattleboro's Eli Lombardi, and Kyle Murdock of Twin Valley.

"DJ Snide is not only a phenomenal wrestler and all-around athlete, but a humble and inspirational young man, the epitome of sportsmanship. He absolutely and emphatically has my vote," wrote Kelly Stettner on the ReformerSports Facebook page.

The 195-pounder went 5-1, with all five of his victories coming by pin, during the Marble Valley League Jamboree at Mount Anthony Union High School. Snide, who picked up wins over wrestlers from Fair Haven, MAU-B, Otter Valley, ConVal and Mill River at that event, has had his arm raised 30 times this season.
