Snow, freezing rain cause some accidents in Vermont

BURLINGTON (AP) - A combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain has led to some accidents in Vermont.

The National Weather Service says a winter advisory is expected to remain in effect until Monday afternoon.

On Sunday, snow squalls caused at least five crashes on Interstate 91 near Brattleboro.

Another rollover happened on Interstate 189, sending the 21-year-old driver to the hospital.

According to reports, a combination speed, slippery roads and tires that did not have sufficient tread for winter conditions were blamed for the rollover.
