SOUTH NEWFANE -- The Old Schoolhouse in South Newfane will host a special "Music Nite" on Saturday at 7:30 p.m., featuring Shelving Rock, the duo of Stephen Iachetta and T. Breeze VerDant, who play foot-stompin’ banjo, guitar and fiddle tunes for the public.
Admission is free, although donations are encouraged to help fund construction of a new floor in the schoolhouse.
The Old Schoolhouse is located in the village of South Newfane at the intersection of Dover Road and Auger Hole Road. Parking is free along Auger Hole Road. Guests are encouraged to bring drinks and snacks, and friends.
Shelving Rock plays original tunes and creative renditions of some familiar songs.
