Spring Fever Barbecue Concert to benefit Interfaith Youth Service Trip

The Brattleboro Interfaith Teens, representing five local faith communities, are hosting a chicken barbecue and concert at the Guilford Community Church on Saturday, April 2 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to help fund their return service trip in July to the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation.

The dinner menu includes barbecue chicken, potato salad, vegetarian chili, macaroni and cheese, green salad and apple crisp with ice cream. The price is $15 for the dinner and concert or $12 for the dinner only.

The concert will include an introduction by both the teens and Kristen Graves, a founder of the Simply Smiles organization which has been working in LaPlant, S.D. Kristen Graves is a singer, songwriter and humanitarian, called 'the new generation of folk' by the New York Times. Tickets at BrownPaperTickets.com or at the door. The church is located south on Route 5 to just past the Guilford Country Store, left on Bee Barn Road and left on Church Drive.
