St. Michael Roman Catholic Church prepares for Lent throughout week

BRATTLEBORO -- Masses will be celebrated this weekend on Saturday 4 p.m. and on Sunday at 8 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. All parish volunteers are invited to the American Legion for the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Supper starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Those parents of children receiving First Communion are asked to meet right after the 10:30 a.m. Mass in the Church. Theology of Tap will take place on Mardi Gras, Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at Kipling’ Pub on Eliott St. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Our Ash Wednesday Services are as follows: Mass with distribution of Ashes at 8:45 a.m., Liturgy of the Word with distribution of Ashes at 12:15 p.m. and Mass with distribution of Ashes at 7 p.m.

Soup and Stations will be celebrated on Friday. Soup is served in Msgr. Rand Hall at 5:30 p.m. and the Stations of the Cross begin at 6:30 p.m. in the church on Walnut Street in Brattleboro.
