Staten Island man busted with drugs after body-cavity search
-- Alex Boulet, 29, of Staten Island, N.Y., was cited on Monday, May 7, for possession of crack cocaine, possession of a regulated drug, possession of marijuana, escape and providing false information to a police officer.
According to police reports, Senior Trooper Michael Studin stopped a 2012 Chevy Malibu for a traffic violation while traveling north on Interstate 91. Studin reports that he received consent to search the vehicle and its two occupants.
Studin said that during his search he felt a foreign object in Boulet's pants. A search warrant was received for Boulet's person and approximately 84 bags of crack cocaine, 218 30-milligram Oxycodone prescription pills and 11 grams of marijuana were found hidden in his rectum.
During the investigation, Boulet attempted to escape from police custody and he falsely identified himself by using his cousin's name and New York driver's license.
Boulet was held at Marble Valley Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday to answer to the charges.
-- Keith Tyrrell Sr., 47, of Bellows Falls, was cited on Sunday, May 6, for violating his conditions of release and violating an abuse prevention order.
Members of the Bellows Falls Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Atkinson and Green streets.
Upon further investigation, Tyrrell was arrested and held at Southern State Correctional Facility on $1,000 cash or surety bond.
Tyrrell was cited to appear in Windham Superior Court: Criminal Division at 12:30 p.m. on Monday to answer to the charge.
-- Zebediah Toussaint, of Bellows Falls, was cited to appear in court at a later date to answer to a charge of violating his conditions of release.
-- Eric J. Lashway, 22, of Brattleboro, was cited for disorderly conduct on Monday, May 7, after Brattleboro Police responded to a domestic dispute on Marlboro Road at approximately 10 a.m.
He was issued conditions of release not to contact the other party involved in the incident.
Lashway is due to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
-- Ramon Soto, 35, of Brattleboro, was cited on Monday, May 7, for domestic assault and lodged at the Brattleboro Police Department.
According to police reports, officers responded to Ledgewood Heights regarding a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival at approximately midnight, police discovered Soto assaulting a woman.
-- David Hoyer, 31, of Brattleboro, was cited for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.
Brattleboro Police reportedly responded to a report of a disorderly individual on High Street at approximately 9:41 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1.
Officers encountered an intoxicated man, later identified as Hoyer, walking down the sidewalk. When Hoyer was confronted by police, he smashed a bottle on the sidewalk and charged at officers. Hoyer was subdued by officers and placed under arrest.
He was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility.
-- Vermont State Trooper Nader Hashim responded to Sweet Pond Road at roughly 5 p.m. on Friday, May 4, to investigate a reported burglary.
According to police, the complainants reported a small amount of money and jewelry missing.

-- Vermont State Police are investigating the forced entry burglary of a camp on Lake Road. The camp is located along the shores of Sunset Lake.
Investigation has indicated that the camp was burglarized between Monday, April 30, and Friday, May 4. Items reported taken include a sledgehammer, pick ax and a hammer.
According to police, there is evidence that suggests the neighboring camp was also tampered with.

-- Vermont State Police responded to a report of a burglary at roughly 7:08 p.m. on Friday, May 4.
According to police, items including a flat-screen television and a Nintendo Wii were taken from a Hartley Hill Road residence sometime during daylight hours.
