Taste of the Arts features Blake Hill Preserves


Main Street Arts rounds out its food-themed Taste of the Arts, Tales of a Community series Thursday, Nov. 3 with a visit with the creators of Blake Hill Preserves.

The presentation will be preceded by a locally-prepared dinner at 6 p.m.

Vicky Allard and Joe Hanglin founded Blake Hill in Grafton in 2009 and recently opened a production facility and retail store in Artisans Park in Windsor.

Since opening its first commercial preserves kitchen, Blake Hill has been a U.S. Good Food Awards winner and finalist five times, and won five golds and three silvers at the World Marmalade awards. Most recently, the company was awarded a sofiTM (speciality outstanding food innovation) at the Special Foods Association.
