Terriers win fourth straight

WESTMINSTER — The Bellows Falls varsity football team trounced Mount Mansfield, 54-8, on Saturday afternoon and improved to 4-0 on the season.

Senior linebacker Jake Lober made 13 tackles to anchor the Purple Gang's defense. Jahyde Bullard (9 tackles), Shane Clark (7), Devin Hardy (5) and Liam Hackett (5) were the other run stuffers.

Reformer Athlete of the Week Caleb Lisai went 5 of 9 through the air for 93 yards and three touchdowns. Logan Cota, Jacob Streeter and Hackett were all on the receiving end of one scoring strike.

The Terriers ended up with 372 yards on the ground. Bullard carried it 10 times for 82 yards and two scores, Clark added 75 yards on the ground, Lober ran for 70 yards, and Cota rushed for 65 more. Brendan Kendall contributed with 45 rushing yards and a TD.

The 4-0 Terriers will visit Milton for a 7 p.m. game on Friday.
