The Book Lounge invites writers to bring their writing projects


Hearing words written by you and read by someone else can be very helpful in making self-edit and revisions to a writing project. Tonight, there will be a story swap! Bring a portion of a writing project (poetry, fiction, nonfiction, to share), to be read aloud by someone else. Be prepared to listen, laugh, and learn.

Host Jessica Swift started Swift Ink Editorial Services in 2008. Prior to starting her business, Jessica was the in-house managing editor at Longhill Partners, where she oversaw three imprints. Since 2008, Jessica has worked with writers and authors around the globe on hundreds of book and writing projects. Jessica's passion is helping writers and authors achieve their writing goals through honest communication, effective editorial collaboration.

Next Thursday, on Sept. 1, what it means to write into the heart of mindfulness will be explored at The Book Lounge . The Book Lounge is located at 4 High St., Brattleboro
