The Vernon drivers deliver


BRATTLEBORO >> Vernon's Pat Houle, Hillary Renaud and Solomon Brow all had a podium finish on Saturday night at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. Houle and Renaud placed second and third respectively in the Lightning Stocks race, while Brow was the runner-up in the Mini Stocks heat.

Houle and Brow are currently atop their division's point standings, with the former leading by 114 points over Dan Starkweather and the latter by just 16 over Matt Kimball. Renaud sits 11th in the Lightning Stocks class.

Tonight, Monadnock Speedway will host the JBH 100 that was rained out in August. The special event will include a 100-lap Granite State Pro Stock Series race and the final points show for the championship in the speedway's weekly divisions, plus the NE Classic Lites. Race time is at 5 p.m.
