Three arrested, cited for sexual assault in Wilmington
BRATTLEBORO -- Three men are being held in state prison after being cited with sexual assault after a joint investigation conducted by the Wilmington Police Department and the Vermont State Police.
According to a press release from the Vermont State Police, at just past 3 a.m. on July 23, the Vermont State Police responded to the Wardsboro Highway Department after a teenager under the age of 16 broke in and dialed 911.
When rescue personnel arrived she told first responders she had been sexually assaulted in Wilmington by three males.
She was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital for treatment where a Detective Trooper of the Vermont State Police, responded and interviewed her and confirmed that the alleged assault had occurred in Wilmington.
Wilmington Police met with Vermont State Police at the Wilmington Police Department and a joint investigation into the alleged assault began.
Police learned that the female was brought to a residence in Wilmington and had engaged in sexual acts with three adult males at the residence of Dennis Pike Jr. on East Main Street in Wilmington, stated the press release.
A search warrant was then executed upon the scene and the three men were interviewed and then arrested.
Pike, 26, and Codie Johnson, 20, of Jacksonville, were each cited for sexual assault, lewd and lascivious conduct with a child and enabling alcohol. They are being held at Southern State Correctional Facility on $10,000 and $5,000 bond, respectively.
Jonathan Deblois, 21, of Readsboro, was cited for three counts of sexual assault, lewd and lascivious conduct with a child and furnishing alcohol. Deblois is being held at Southern State on a $10,000 bond.
