Tick and Lyme disease presentation

BRATTLEBORO -- The public is invited to a presentation on ticks and Lyme disease. Sponsored by the University of Vermont Extension Master Gardener program, Babs Lynde will host the talk on May 16 from at 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Marlboro College Graduate Center on Vernon Street, Brattleboro, in Room 2 East.

Her presentation will include the varieties of ticks, which ones give you Lyme disease, how to identify tick markings as well as advice on preventing Lyme disease and how to live with the disease

Babs Lynde has been a UVM EMG since 2003. Gardening is her passion, herbs in particular. She's written articles for the EMG program and produced and starred in many shows for Fact 8 TV (currently on hiatus) including "Gettin' Dirty with Babs."
