Tickets still available, but going fast, for 10th annual A Cappella concert
BRATTLEBORO -- Tickets are still available, but going fast, for the 10th Annual Collegiate A Cappella Benefit Concert, held this year on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m., at the Latchis Theatre.
This year’s special 10th anniversary concert features seven great groups, including fan favorites the Tufts Beelzebubs, the Dartmouth Aires, and the Mandarins from Syracuse. A brand new group, the Amherst College Zumbyes, features a singer from Peterborough, N.H.
The special anniversary concert will also feature the return of a few of the very first groups and their hometown singers, including Brattleboro’s own, John Wesley and Wesleyan University’s Quasimodal, Dummerston’s Sean Ryan and the Tufts University Amalgamates, and last but not least, the stellar women from The Smiffenpoofs of Smith College, the oldest women’s a cappella group in the country.
Tickets are $20 for balcony, $28 for rear orchestra and $35 for front orchestra. Proceeds benefit the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center.
Purchase tickets at www.brattleborotix.com or by calling the BMAC at 802-257-0124, ext. 101.
