TURKEY SUPPER: An all-you-can-eat Turkey Supper Buffet will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Third Congregational Church, UCC, 14 River St. in Alstead. Take-out meals will be available. The cost of the buffet is $9 for ages 13 and up, $4.50 for ages 6 to 13, and under 6 are free. There will be special rates for families with more than two paying children.

In Guilford...

SENIOR MEAL: The Guilford Senior Lunch, sponsored by Senior Solutions, will take place at noon on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Guilford Community Church. The menu will include beef stew, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and pickles, with cake for dessert.

A suggested donation of $3 for seniors and $5 for others is asked. Books will be available on loan from the Guilford Free Library. Blood pressures will be taken courtesy of Guilford Cares.

In West Brattleboro...

OUTREACH MEAL: Now in its sixth month, West Brattleboro Baptist Church continues its monthly Community Outreach Meal Ministry at its 979 Western Ave. location on Sunday, Oct. 28.

The free community luncheon will be held from noon to 2 p.m. The menu will include meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, carrots, roll, homemade apple crisp and beverages.

In Winchester, N.H. ...

BEAN SUPPER: The United Church of Winchester will hold its monthly Bean Supper on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the church building on Main Street in Winchester.

The meal is served family style and the cost is $8 for adults, $3 for children, and $20 for up to five family members, adults with children. The building is accessible to all. For more information, call 603-239-4465. There are no advanced ticket sales.
